Employer benefit
All employer benefits in addition to the salary (remuneration) are referred to as company benefits.
The terms corporate benefit, fringe benefit, employee benefit, perk and fringe benefit are also commonly used.
In addition to statutory (e.g. health insurance contributions) and collectively-agreed (e.g. company pension scheme) company benefits, there are also voluntary company social benefits, which include company mobile phones as a benefit in kind, which can be used partially or completely privately. Since 2018, telecommunications devices such as smartphones or tablets can even be provided tax-free.
