    Field of action & Objectives

IT.Niedersachsen supports ministries, the police, and other public authorities in digitization efforts and the enablement of mobile work. Its services include managing IT infrastructure, providing specialized apps and office software, and operating a 24/7 service desk.

Following an almost two-year market exploration process and a subsequent twelve-month tender, IT.Niedersachsen sought an innovative solution to advance mobile digitization within public administration. The decision fell on Deutsche Telekom and its partner Everphone.

    Efficiency through automated processes

The DaaS solution reduces complexity and enables noticeable efficiency gains through seamlessly integrated and automated processes. The all-in-one package minimizes manual processing steps, conserves the resources of state authorities, and helps offset the shortage of skilled personnel.

IT.Niedersachsen's clients can easily order work phones via a service portal, with the order automatically forwarded to Telekom.

    Efficiency through automated processes

Highest security standards & holistic service

The project meets the strict security requirements of the state administration. The holistic service includes mobile device management (MDM), license management, app security, and mobile connectivity. A key component is the BSI-certified order management and billing tool, as well as the BSI-certified data wiping process for returned devices.

The joint project simplifies the daily operations through the "Fully Managed Mobile Workplace" concept. This covers the entire device lifecycle — from preconfiguration and direct shipping to the workplace or home, to fast replacement in case of defects, and refurbishment for reuse.

For us and our customers, the seamlessly automated processes result in a noticeable increase in efficiency.
