In the context of enterprise mobility management, Android Zero-Touch is an administrative setup for registering and managing company mobile phones under the Android mobile operating system. The devices are administered by IT.
The aim is to allow manufacturer-independent and contactless registration (enrolment) without burdening the actual end users with device management, registration or configuration tasks.
Because of this, end users no longer have to touch the mobile device before using it for the first time (zero touch = contactless).
