We’re proud and grateful: Everphone has been awarded the German Sustainability Award 2026. This recognition honours our work—and motivates us to keep going.
Jury statement
The jury commended our comprehensive transformation efforts and our consistent commitment to a circular economy:
“Particularly noteworthy is the approach of systematically returning used devices to a second-life use and only considering recycling at the end of the product life cycle. This helps conserve valuable resources such as rare earths and significantly reduces electronic waste.” From the jury statement of the German Sustainability Award
Our Device-as-a-Service (DaaS) model for mobile devices proves that technology and sustainability don’t have to be at odds. The goal: to integrate mobile technology into businesses in a way that is not only efficient but also responsible.
Circular economy for mobile devices
When we rent out smartphones, tablets, and laptops, we always plan ahead: we take them back, refurbish them, and reintroduce them into further life cycles—maximizing the use of resource-intensive devices.
Private use allowed: one device for everything
Another key aspect is enabling employees to use their devices for both work and personal purposes. Technically, that’s easy to do today. It means that there’s no need for an additional private device. This benefits employees—and ultimately, the environment.
“Additionally, the ‘dual-use’ offering, which enables both professional and private use of a single device, contributes to reducing the total number of devices produced and helps use resources more efficiently.” From the jury statement of the German Sustainability Award.
This award is not a final result, but a milestone along the way. It encourages us to continue—together with our customers, partners, and the entire team.
