FAQ
How much is a device upgrade?
Are there any costs involved in switching to a high-quality model? We define a device upgrade as a switch to a newer, better, or more feature-rich mobile device model. Whether charges apply for a device upgrade depends on the term of your contract and your master agreement.
Free upgrades with “buy and rent back”
If your company has used the “buy and rent back” option, then equipment upgrades are usually free of charge after one month.
Switching fee without “buy and rent back”
If your company does not use the “buy and rent back” option, a model upgrade is possible from the 13th month of the lease term. So unlike mobile providers or other financing models, with Everphone you can upgrade your smartphones after one year. From the 24th month of the lease term, the model upgrade is even free of charge.
Between the 13th and 24th month of the lease term, a one-time down payment of three months’ rent (of the old device) is due for a model upgrade.
The new device has a new minimum term of another 24 months. Whether a company passes on the costs to its employees or bears them itself is up to the company.
