    "Mobile malware" refers to malware on mobile devices. Countermeasures for information security in this context are called mobile security.

    Mobile malware can endanger the company's IT security, especially in BYOD scenarios. Here, iPhones with jailbreak or rooted Android smartphones in particular are a security risk and possible point of attack for cybercrime such as ransomware.

    • worms, and
