New CFO: Hello, Veronika!
Berlin, May 02 2022 – The phone-as-a-service specialist Everphone has a new CFO. The Berlin-based startup was able to secure the services of experienced executive Veronika von Heise-Rotenburg. She is a renowned expert in digital finance and asset-based financing, and brings many years of experience in the field of fleet lending.
Everphone is on a strong expansion course and has successfully entered the US market recently. Expansion across new markets are in the pipeline. As Chief Financial Officer and co-managing director, Veronika will work together with Everphone founder Jan Dzulko to secure the necessary investments. The focus will be on both new equity and debt capital within the framework of asset-based deals. Veronika will also be responsible for Everphone’s global finances.
About Veronika
Veronika, who holds a doctor of law, was most recently with the British online used cars dealer Cazoo. Here, as director of the legal and finance department, she was responsible for the company’s expansion into the European markets on a legal and financial level. She joined Cazoo as part of the acquisition of the car-as-a-service service Cluno, which she led as CFO and Managing Director.
From 2014 to 2018, Veronika was commercial director and authorised signatory of TraXall Germany, a provider of sustainable fleet and mobility management. She had spun off the service provider together with a co-founder from Hannover Leasing Automotive GmbH, where she was responsible for risk management. She began her career as an associate at McKinsey.
With Veronika von Heise-Rotenburg, Everphone not only gains an experienced CFO, the tech start-up also continues to increase the proportion of female management at C-level. There, women and men are now equally represented in addition to the founder and CEO, which is quite unusual for a tech company.
