Apple Business Manager is a web-based portal for IT administrators that works with third-party mobile device management (MDM) solutions to make it easy to purchase content in bulk, whether your organization uses iPhone, iPad, or Mac devices.

Automatic device enrollment
With Apple Business Manager, you can automate MDM enrollment and simplify initial device setup without having to touch or prepare devices before users receive them (“zero touch”). You can automatically enroll devices in the MDM solution of your choice, as long as the device was added to your organization at the time of purchase (or in case of Everphone, rental).
Apps and books
Apple Business Manager works with any MDM solution to enable your organization to purchase content (such as apps and books) in bulk, assign it to devices or user:s, and then install and update that content wirelessly, even when the App Store is disabled. You retain full ownership and control of the apps you purchase. You can even revoke and reassign apps to different devices and users in any country where the app is available in the App Store.
