Device as a Service (DaaS ) is the approach of providing a company’s IT infrastructure through leasing or long-term rental of the end device rather than through a device purchase.
Through this outsourcing, companies benefit from a high service-level agreement, downtime-reducing measures such as predictive analytics, and the shift from capital expenditures to operating costs (capex to opex).
At Everphone, the rental of company smartphones and tablets is also called DaaS (device as a service).
