Taiwanese technology company
HTC stands for “high tech computer”. HTC Corporation is a Taiwanese manufacturer of electronic items such as virtual reality glasses, cell phones, tablets and smartphones.
The company is also an OEM manufacturer (Original Equipment Manufacturer), i.e. produces devices that are sold under a different brand, such as the Google Nexus 9 tablet.
HTC employs almost 15,000 people and generated annual sales of around 330 million US dollars in 2019.
