About Interhyp
The Interhyp Group is one of the leading providers of construction mortgages in Germany. The group encompasses Interhyp, tailored for clients, and Prohyp, designed for brokers and institutional partners. The company successfully placed a financing volume of 29 billion euros with more than 500 lending partners in 2022. In collaboration with the financial service provider MLP, Interhyp established the joint venture MLP Hyp.
Challenges
The Interhyp Group had been providing Interhyp employees with their mobile device, along with their phone plan, at their 120 locations across Germany, on an individual basis. This had resulted in mounting costs for procurement and administration, and invoicing was becoming highly unwieldy.
Requirements
The company’s priorities were to dramatically reduce the internal time resources needed to handle mobile device management; to meet high regulatory requirements and to correctly allocate new devices to the right subsidiaries of the Interhyp Group (Interhyp, Prohyp or MLP Hyp).
“Device as a Service” (DaaS): the complete package
With DaaS and Everphone, the Interhyp Group took the option of completely outsourcing its workload around mobile devices. Check out our video to learn more! The Everphone service includes automated inventory management, device deployment, and the clean allocation of devices to the right cost centers. Incident management and offboarding are also part of the package.Self-service via Everphone's web portal
Employees of the Interhyp Group can call up information relevant to their devices at their convenience with the Everphone customer portal. They can also have defective devices replaced for free.
The simple-to-use portal has removed the burden on Interhyp Group’s IT department by answering standard queries from employees about rental periods, upgrade options, and so on. The inventory is updated in real time and so requires no effort to maintain.
Renewing the existing fleet as and when needed
It is one of the most frequent questions when onboarding a company to the DaaS model: What happens to the devices that are already in circulation?
Everphone offers a practical solution with its “buy and rent back” (BARB) product feature. The Interhyp Group opted for a “hybrid” BARB approach for which some were automatically equipped with new, more modern devices, whereas another part of the team could choose whether to continue using the existing device or to upgrade to a new device, according to their needs.
