iPad

Tablet PC from Apple

“iPad” is the brand name for tablets from the US manufacturer Apple. The brand name is so popular that it is sometimes also used as a generic generic name. iPads used the iOS mobile operating system until 2019. Later models boast the ipad-specific operating system iPadOS.

iPad sizes

iPads come in various configurations and sizes. Examples of these are (based on screen diagonal):

  • iPad Pro 12.9 inch
  • iPad Pro 11 inch
  • iPad 10.2 inch
  • iPad Air 10.9 inch
  • iPad mini 8.3 inch
