Bundle
Combined offer consisting of a mobile device and a mobile rate plan
A bundle is a combined offer consisting of a subsidized mobile device and a mobile rate plan.
Bundles often suggest to customers a price advantage that does not actually exist, for example, by setting the additional payment for a smartphone or tablet at a very low level, but remonetizing it through a disguised or non-transparent increase in the rate.
The counterpart to the bundle is a SIM-only rate that does not include subsidized hardware.
