Great news! Everphone is a finalist for the prestigious German Sustainability Award (Deutsche Nachhaltigkeitspreis, DNP). The German Sustainability Award is Europe’s largest sustainability award.
For the 17th time, the DNP is recognizing companies and products that it considers to be “pioneering contributions to the transformation to a sustainable future”. The DNP is awarded as part of the German Sustainability Day, which has developed into the leading congress on sustainability since 2008.
Award for excellence in sustainability
224 jury members of the DNP select those companies that lead the sustainable transformation in their respective industries. These best practices are intended to show how ecological and social progress can be achieved more quickly.
The award is based on the goals of the 2030 Agenda and thus on key transformation areas such as climate, biodiversity, resources, supply chains and society.
“Device as as service” conserves resources
We are proud to be nominated as a finalist–because it puts Everphone in a line of pioneers who are actively working to promote more sustainable living and working. Our motivation is to use the available resources more efficiently and not to waste them.
Reduce, reuse, recycle
Our business model—providing smartphones, tablets, laptops and accessories on a DaaS rental basis – does just that. DaaS not only reduces the number of devices needed, but also ensures that devices are used for longer—after a rental cycle, they are refurbished and reused.
This conserves and recovers valuable resources that are essential for the production of smart devices, including precious metals, rare earths and other critical raw materials.
Jury decides in November
Being nominated as a DNP finalist is a testament to the commitment of our entire team, who work hard every day to advance our solution. Together, we are committed to making the vision of a more sustainable and circular economy a reality.
The awards will be presented on November 28 and 29, 2024 at the Maritim Hotel in Düsseldorf. We are looking forward to the awards ceremony and are excited about the result.
