Adherence to rules in the IT landscape
In companies, IT compliance refers to the observance of rules (adherence to rules) in the IT landscape. These can be legal regulations such as the EU-DSGVO, but also company-internal behavioral guidelines such as user agreements and self-imposed rules (for example, password guidelines).
